anybody heard of duke university scholars program???
Iāve heard of it but isnāt it based off invitation? I googled it and the website said you have to be invited to the program (as with most all other first year programs at Duke other than Focus). @identification
If I get deferred instead of denied, does my application automatically switch from Early Decision to Regular Decision and I donāt need to do anything?
I think so
@Chrisonemo deferred means that you will automatically be reviewed in the RD round. If deferred, Iād recommend you write a letter to Duke Admissions (not sure exactly how this works) that basically exemplifies that you absolutely love Duke and are a great fit there. This officially is called a Letter of Intent or Enthusiasm

Iām freaking out!! 4 daysā¦ I go to school in the UK, although I might be back in Nigeria when the results come out. Either way I have to wait until exactly 12am to find out, itās torture!
Itās been so hard working on UK applications at the same time as US ones under two totally different systems, while also studying for law school admissions tests (LNAT) and the ACT and A levels and Cambridge pre-u Chinese. Keeping up with schoolwork has been hell
I will die of happiness if I get in but I also just need this to be over; the wait is killing me
Did anyone else do an arts supplement thatās applying ED? Or RD?
Wellesley is my second choice in the US, Amherst, Williams, Brown, NYU, Cornell, Barnard, Wesleyan, Johns Hopkins
In the U.K.: Kingās College London for Politics, Philosophy and Law LLB combined degree,
Politics and Philosophy joint honours at LSE,
Law and Politics LLB at Queen Mary University,
Liberal Arts majoring in Politics and Chinese at Kingās College London as well
did anyone get a likely letter? Does Duke even do likely letters?
I know they do for RD but i dont think they do for ED because likely letters are supposed to make people want to go there more in a way
On the SISS portal under āfinancial aidā it says that I have incomplete the āfather additional informationā (applying ED), does anybody know how important this is, or even what this is? thanks ahead
