@Mustardseeds It said in the email that they don’t invite everyone that applies for admission, so you can still be accepted even if you aren’t invited.

Anyone else heard from Duke? University Scholars Program? I guess what you guys are talking about is BAIS. It’s just for black students, isn’t it?
Did you guys apply for these scholarships or do they just give it to people who they believe should get it? Because I don’t recall choosing/applying for any scholarships 
Or are those the same thing as the “signature programs” that we had to choose on Commonapp?
Yeah, BSAI is just for black students. And everyone that applied to Duke gets considered for merit scholarships. ^

HELP NEEDED!!!
I just received a congratulatory email from Duke for making it as a finalist for Karsh Merit Scholarship. The first sentence says - “It gives us great pleasure to inform you that from over 34,500 applications you have been chosen as a finalist for the Karsh International Scholarship at Duke University.”
Unfortunately, the email doesn’t say anything about admission. Does this email ensure a place for me at Duke University?
You would not have gotten that letter if they were planning to reject you. Funny that they did not send an acceptance letter also. Maybe their league rules prohibit them from accepting you before the rest of the class.

Are you guys sure that Merit Scholarship finalists are automatically accepted to Duke?
Does this mean that all Karsh Scholarship finalists have been selected? Those who didn’t get it are out of the race right?
