If anybody is up to calling the admissions office and asking (even though they may not tell anything), I think a lot of people would appreciate it. The March 30th date in the ED press release doesn’t seem set-in-stone to me, but I could be wrong.
@penguin17 @MSYP100 If you go to the Duke Undergraduate Admissions website under the Admissions/Checklist & Deadlines tab, it says decisions will be released April 1st
In 2015 they released decisions at 7pm on thursday the 26th. And I think last year they released them on thursday the 24th at 7pm. Does this mean it could be next thursday? or I guess maybe the 30th?

I haven’t gotten one, but I know that they start coming out around this time. And I don’t know if DACA students get them.
Does anyone else’s “to do list” on their application portal have a box now from the application decision group? Mine says the school I applied to (Trinity) then next to it regular admissions decision. I can’t click on it and I’m not sure what it is.
Yes! Mine says the same. I guess they are probably making changes to their website as decision day is coming closer.
Does anyone know if applicants who have a sibling at Duke have any admission advantage?
A guy in my school who has a sibling in Duke got rejected but he got a personal letter explaining why he was rejected
@monk123 receiving a letter detailing why he was rejected is very interesting. Could you share the reasoning Duke gave him?
@CalmConquistador I don’t think it was an explanation, it was more of an apology/regret to not be able to offer you admission letter even though his sibling studied there
okay this took me a while to find but last year duke sent out the admission decision release date (24th for last year) one week before (on the 17th) to the applicants. And because it seems to usually be on one of the last thursdays of march, I think we can expect an email this Thursday and decisions to be out on the 30th

@MissAnthropy I think it will be released before ivy day. From research, I have noticed that they have been notifying the date of decision release for both ed and rd about a week before the decision date. However, this yr they notified the ed applicants only a day before. We may expect the results to be out later this week.

Ugh if Duke releases on Ivy Day that would be incredibly stressful, I hope they’ll stick with tradition and send out decisions before that Thursday. Still no word on Latino Student Recruitment Weekend? It came out on the 20th last year, which I believe was actually a Sunday.
