I just received an invitation to the Latino Student Weekend, has anyone else??

We are unable to invite every student who applied for admission and will continue to invite students as space allows.” Which would lead me to believe that not all Latin American students are invited
Well maybe not all, but a lot of them were. And they even say that they “will continue to invite students as space allows” So this invitation clearly doesn’t mean acceptance. Stop overthinking guys
The diversity weekend invites are likely letters. They’ve been around for a while and those students are later officially offered admission.
They’re similar in nature to Rice’s “Vision” invite.
@elay1202 I never said I was accepted nor am I overthinking it, someone else said congratulations. However, the email does say “Naturally, inviting you to campus means we think you are a very strong candidate for admission. Occasionally, something happens or we receive new information between the time we send invitations and the time we finalize admissions decisions, and we find we can’t admit someone we’ve invited. However, that’s very rare. Your chances of being admitted are excellent.” Take that information as you wish and we’ll see in a couple of days

@esalinasgt That’s exactly what likely letters always say. Unless you do something terrible and they rescind, you’re in. My son received the BSAI last year and everyone who did was offered admission. The same has been true for the Latin weekend version. Again, congratulations! Duke is awesome and I’m sure you are as well.
