1310 :’) barely studied bc I didn’t know I wanted to apply to the US until October, been rejected from 4 schools and not expecting much
@ghvan99 aww don’t lose hope. maybe something else will click with Office of Admissions?
Do you guys think that the “Go blue devils and welcome to Duke!” is really an indicator? I’m worried because I didn’t get that email
@livy2462 I don’t know, I received that e-mail but I am trying to not read anything into it… which is really hard hahaha. But one thing that got my attention is that when I log in my onelink account it says Congratulations! But then again, trying to not read anything hahaha
@josevi what link are you using?
@josevi where does your onelink say congratulations? now starting to get worried since I haven’t received the “welcome” email either
Guys don’t look too much into the OneLink message “Go Blue Devils, and welcome!
Duke University”. I have that as well and I did my Onelink in early January. It means nothing at all. Good luck to everyone!
@josevi man you need to read what it says and please tell us, it is a nervous time for all of us.
Does everybody’s financial aid status say “completed”?
@DoctorMD mine says
To Do List
This page shows your To Do list, including a button to hide completed items, detailed information, and helpful links for some of the items. You can click on any link to go to pages/sites that allow you to work on those items or get more information. Please note that once an item is complete, it can take up to three (3) business days before the status is reflected on your To Do list.

For the Duke Login issues: For my daughter I noticed if it takes to long to respond you can exit out and immediately log back in. For some reason, it just comes up after that!
@ghvan99 don’t worry much. Admissions is like a lottery especially at top elite schools. Past 1250 SAT score, your circumstances and story will make your case. My cousin got into Duke last year and he had 1990 SAT. I just hope your application was compelling.
Someone i know got into Duke ED with 1340 so fret not. I’ve seen a lot of people with “sub-par” scores get in.
@AlbionH @lowsatguy Relax guys, I did a little bit more of research to see if there is any correlation… Regarding the email saying “Welcome” I received it a few weeks after my application, I really doubt that they would have accepted me by then. And regarding the “Congratulations” I was using the link that I received when I applied, the link that is used to register, so the Congratulations was probably pretty much because the website was acting like I registered just now, and the fact that when I logged in using the “Account lookup” at Duke Onelink website the “Congratulations” did not appear just further shows that it has no correlation to an acceptance.
Thanks god I am skeptical, otherwise I would be depressed now after feeling joy.
so hey guys I was checking out the stats for the SAT scores that were accepted into duke university and I was shocked to see that low SAT scores are also accepted, I actually dont know if cappex is an insured sight but look for yourself in the link: https://www.■■■■■■■■■■/colleges/Duke-University/admissions/
@josevi - thanks for the clarification. When it was first posted earlier today, the impression was that the email with “welcome” was received today, and hence the confusion.
Sounds like a yes to me if it says congratulations! I just received the email that details when the portal will be open, and to open it alone! It sounds like different emails are going to accepted vs. denied applicants.
@PowderDays - the email you received just now is the same email everyone received last week. You probably checked it just now. And the poster who spoke about the “Congrats” message already clarified that it was “Congrats for registering a onelink ID” message.
how are duke’s financial aid/scholarships?
I got the notification date email today, same as everyone else’s
@PowderDays @reeves33 - looks like all ED deferred applicants are receiving the email today, while the RD applicants got it earlier.
