Lot of debate whether a ‘request’ initiated by a college on the IDOC page, is an indication a college may have accepted you. Some feel there is absolute evidence in the affirmative and others feel it is hogwash. Just wondered how many fellow cc’ers received an IDOC request and what the end result was? Specifically, were you accepted, deferred, or denied from that institution? And, if you happen to be a Duke applicant (past or present), all the better! Love to hear what transpired!
@XLR8ED @ivyforest My daughter received the IDOC request for Duke ED and was deferred. Based on researching all the past Duke threads, it apparently means nothing. The admission process is separate from the financial aid process.

Does anyone know when RD decisions come out?
@IntApp2022 Duke says early April, but it’s normally released by end of March.
I’m deferred, and my decision letter is gone. Does anyone else have this too?
@Hephaestion Probably removed since you’ll be getting an updated letter later in the next month or so, or simply just a glitch. Either way I wouldn’t look too much into it.
How is it possible that you did both Harvard and Duke SCEA?

@harper3125 Duke doesn’t have SCEA only ED or RD. He applied Harvard SCEA and Duke RD.

I applied RD. I’m new to CC but I fell for duke and would really like to go. I don’t have the best stats tho. 29 ACT and I got a C in AP Calc last semester so I doubt I’ll get in
