Class Rank: 15/385

He had a bad freshman year, a much better sophmore year and a great junior year (99-average, important). He came to America in 2002 and hence overcame so difficulty in the process....

and 1 or 2 others

First-Quarter report has 100s all over it...this raises his rank by 7 places...

extracurriculars: some board positions etc...it's 'above average'
awards: not a lot, around 5
took some accredited research programs. He also took the school research program for all 4 years straight.

Mediocre recommendations
GREAT ESSAY

what are his chances for DUKE EARLY DECISION, and he has a bad financial status too so can he get a good financial offer in EARLY DECISION? He'll be applying to trinity, aiming for pre-med.

If he wants the financial offers, early decision is NOT the way to go. IF these stats are true, he should apply to several schools known for strong financial aid and then weigh out the options and acceptances in April.

can I know exactly why Duke would be bad in Early Decision Financial Aid? His parents have a gross income of about $18000 an year...a permanent resident.

troll....
800s on 7 sat2s? LOL

Please note- this is not a lie, the student is quite bright, but i can agree that his EC's are on the low side....
