Duke vs. Penn ED... do you agree with me?

Hey guys, I was wondering who does DUKE accept Early Decision. I mean I am out of state with good chances but nothing phenomenal. I mean do most people who get accept ED comprise of: athletes, legacies, in-state, prestigious national and international-ranked award winners in academics, under represented minorities?

I mean I do not fit any of those quotas and so I am curious…

P.S> Duke only gets about 1,380 applicants for ED and accept about 450. Why is it that Penn who has the same admissions rate for ED (34%), gets way more apps and acceptances? I know that they fill about 50% of their class ED, but still think about it. Wouldn’t you presume that the people Duke accepts ED (about 450 people) are more of the athletes, legacies, urms… etc… I mean I could see that at Penn, the first 450 may fit this category and the remaining 900 are merely good/great students. So what do you think about this argument?

Do you think that it would for the good student, he or she would have a better chance at UPENN??
