<p>So I'm thinking of applying EA next year to Yale let me know what you think of my chances.</p>

SAT II: Math IIC: 750 Chinese w/ listening: 800 Bio: 710
(I am not chinese)
Courses: Hardest courseload
GPA: 3.8 at top 15 ranked private school in the nation 30% ivy acceptance and 11 out of 120 to yale last year. They don't do class rank but i'm pretty sure that i'm top 5 or so.</p>
<p>APs: My American school is "progressive" and therefore they offer "enriched courses" instead of AP courses but I took the only two that are offered here in China. (Chinese and Calc AB)</p>
<p>Nearly Fluent in Chinese as I have just spent a year in China living with a host family and attending an Andover backed program focusing on language immersion. (recieved one of two full merit based scholarships to attend)</p>

-3 sport varsity athlete: soccer (10), swimming (10), tennis (9,10)
-Next year I will be captain of the tennis team and I am considering waterpolo as my school has just started offering it.
-(If you were wondering 11th is missing because there were no sports teams in China but I will continue when I get home for senior year)
-Junior year abroad in China
-Just one of two students to recieve full ($36,000) merit based scholarship out of 180 applicants
-New York City and State documentary history fair winner, top 20 at nationals
-Model UN UNA-USA highest award --Best Delegate--
-Worked with the National Resources Defense Council in Beijing
-Tutored Chinese migrant worker children in english</p>
<p>Summer Plans:
-I'm taking Physics at yale this summer so that i can take advanced topics in bio next year.
-Producing a documentary for the World Science Fair which will take place in 2008 in NYC
-I'm also planning on translating articles from english to chinese and possibly writing some more for an online magazine during the first month of the summer.</p>
