Hey guys,

2 Questions:

1.) When do we hear about financial aid for those who have been accepted Early ACtion? I have heard that it is late March...

2.) Does ND tend to meet your financial needs as stated on FAFSA most of the time..? That is, are those current students on this forum satisfied with their need-based aid?

Thanks.

1) I heard a few days ago.

2) ND was EXTREMELY generous compared to the FASFA. If I attend, it will only (only lol its still a lot) cost about 3k/year more than my financial safety school I am really impressed.

This sucks, I have not heard yet. Should I be worried? I mean ND did send me an email requesting my citizenship verification like a week ago which might be the reason for the delay. But should I be concerned?

It will probably get to you shortly....

I can tell you that when my package was reviewed, I was told they would take into consideration certain factors external to the FAFSA...learned Junior year when the numbers drastically changed that this wasn't the case. All in all, the amount was fair, not as helpful as it could have been. I graduate with a decent amount of debt but not overly burdensome. It was only between 20K - 30K.

Mine arrived yesterday. I was afraid they weren't going to offer me anything based on our EFC and was surprised to receive a scholarship. It wasn't as large as what some of the less competitive schools offered but I'll take it!!
