EA stats from Yale

curious that the acceptance data is only available to accepted students. would certainly be interesting to compare acceptance rates by state and country.

Would you pleeease be able to check for any of the area codes beginning with 7841? Hope that's not too much to ask. I don't know how the site works but I'd really appreciate the info. Thanks

Can someone tell me how to check? If not, could you tell me 28806 (Western NC)? Thanks.

island mom, no one was accepted in that range, but it looks like ten were accepted in the southern half of texas.

Laneb, nobody was accepted close to you. You can check who was admitted by logging onto your yale decisions site (only if you were admitted).

If anyone has the time, I would really appreciate someone checking in the Cleveland area...anything around the zip code 44022. Thanks!

i already had vivaldi do that, he said like 6 or 7 people in our area.....

Selia - how many from your school got in/deferred/rejected?
and do you know about Shaker? Thanks

From my school there were four earlies, one's an athlete and got in, another got in, I was deferred, and I don't know about the fourth.

EDIT: and I have no clue about Shaker or anyone else from the area.

damn, yale needs to learn to SHARE the wealth...and take some from other schools. Not even me, there are MANY kids to deserve to get in from the cleveland area but dont (I feel, because they dont go to the "right" school...HB or Shaker, etc)

I know....it might have something to do with guidance counselors though. HB has had the same guidance counselor for years and she has TONS of connections at Ivys and knows a lot about the process; she probably knows how best to present the students to Ivys.

Hey, could you check if neone from the area code 28...s were accepted

anyone admitted from India?

xyz, I'm not sure exactly which area you want checked, so I'll give you the zoom-out answer:
Looks like about 6 in Raleigh NC, 2 in Greensboro NC, 1 in eastern NC, 4 in Richmond VA, 1 in northern VA, 10 or so near Atlanta GA, 4 in SC, a couple in TN, and a couple more in KY near Louisville.

sucharita, as newt said, the map only shows US acceptances. It says that 8 people applied from India, but I'm not sure if those numbers are accurate.

Could someone please check a Vermont area code again (05___) and tell me how many people were accepted from each part of the state? (west, east, south, etc.)

College: 1 in putland, 1 in burlington, 1 somewhere in the middle

There's a bazillion dots around the Chicago area, which is where I'm from.

Hey, could someone check the zip code 91030 and find out how many acceptances are from near that area? Thanks!

1 in Lomita, another close ot Torrance. 3 more inland and 4 down in santa ana

newt, bebere87, athlonmj, I just wanted to say that it's so kind of you to look these distribution figures up for those on the CC site who didn't get access to these maps. It means a lot!! Thanks.

What is the website your finding all this at?
