***EA UGA CLASS OF 2022 APPLICANT THREAD***

In state or out of state DOES NOT MATTER! Not sure why you keep saying this. The Admissions Blog specifically states this over and over. Do you think the Admissions Blog is not telling the truth?

English: 34 and Math: 30
In State and EA
I’m not sure how to calculate UGA GPA

@admissionplease - here is the link explaining how to calculate your UGA GPA.

http://ugaadmissions.blogspot.com/2013/11/calculating-uga-gpa.html?m=1

The good news is that your University of Georgia ACT is a 32 as they only consider Math and English sections.

Anyone know what time EA decisions should begin to be posted today?!? Nervous!! Good luck everyone!!

@Meant2B The blog says late in the afternoon.

I’m guessing around 4:00pm CST

What are my Chances?
4.0(UGA GPA) 3.5 UW
1520 SAT 34 ACT
11 AP courses

You literally said 9 ap courses and 32 ACT in another post

@funtimes123 and @LollmANoob
Thanks, just looked back at 2016 EA Thread and decisions were posted at 4pm last year…so looks like that will be the time!!

@Meant2B EST? I have a feeling you calmed down a lot of EA applicants.

@LollmANoob yes 4pm Eastern

Decisions have been released.

Mine still says awaiting decision

I saw this so thought they had all been released. Sorry!

UGA just released the Early Action decisions and some statistics for the middle 50% of the class on a number of variables (the 25th-75th percentiles).

Here it is:
Applicants: “Nearly 15,000” (was 15,614 last year, but this year, essay was required, dampening applications)
Admitted: “More than 8,000” (was 8,059 last year)

UGA GPA: 4.11 (Middle 50% was 4.00-4.26 last year)
Avg. ACT: 32, middle 50% 30-32 (Last year: 31 avg, middle 50% was 30-33)
Avg. SAT: 1390, middle 50% 1320-1470 (Last year: 1363 avg, middle 50% was 1300-1430)
AP/IB/DE courses by graduation: 7-11 (was 6-11 last year)

Total admitted students via all rounds (EA+Feb.Round+RD) last year was 12,900

Anyone else constantly checking their status even though it isn’t “late afternoon” yet? The wait is so hard!!!

@funtimes123 yes, waiting is sooo hard!

Don’t forget to post results here: http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/university-georgia/2033186-official-uga-class-of-2022-decisions-thread.html#latest

@funtimes123 what’s even considered late afternoon? i’ve been thinking about that question all day.

Someone said earlier today that it is 4:00 Eastern
