I’ve been hearing that it is harder to get accepted early action because people with the best stats apply early. Is this true? If I had average stats would it be better to apply regular?
There’s no harm to applying EA. Any borderline candidate will simply be deferred to RD. While getting in EA is getting harder, getting rejected EA is also hard to do with how many students NEU defers. I was told essentially this when I applied two years ago, and the trend has not stopped.
