Early Action Results Thread!

PHD, neon congrats!

For those of who received letters already, would you be the first to post your stats under the Official EA Thread? It will help us make our own interpretation of college decisions this year, as well as those who are applying RD or in the future.

im not going to post any statistics, i think itll only make people stress out this stupid college process even more

sorry that i couldnt be helpful

plus, i am a hell of a lot more than a stupid set of numbers

OMG OMG OMG! I am so nervous too! I get butterflies in my stomach everytime I remember the notification is coming in two days! Will they send us an email or is it definitely snail mail?

Definitely snail mail, unfortunately, unless you're an international.

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted!
To those deferred (a group I will probably join once I get my letter tomorrow), good luck with the rest of your apps and don't give up on G-town! We will all be okay no matter where we end up. :)

Congratulations to all that have been accepted.
I am still waiting on my letter, and I think it should arrive tomorrow.... which makes me really really nervous. Gtown is somewhat of a strech for me -- but I feel I have some very strong parts of my application. We'll see what the admissions committee thought, but I think I made it very clear that going to their university is very much a life dream for me. Even if I'm deferred, I will remain optimistic! Good luck to all of you guys receiving letters tomorrow, too.

Lol, esgee I think I'm going to join you in keeping my expectations low. That said, for luck I'm wearing my Gtown t-shirt and Gtown pajama pants to bed tonight and will wear them again Sunday evening if I don't get a letter tomorrow.

Congratulations to those accepted and best wishes/good luck to those deferred.

^ I have a feeling us NYs will get it tomorrow. Monday's probably for the Cali kids.

I hope so. Either way I'm prepared.

I live in MD about two hours from DC though... I still hope to get it tomorrow...?

AHHH I'm so scared!!! I hope I get my letter tomorrow... Monday is my birthday, and I don't want to spend it worrying about whether or not I got in!

I've gotten into 3/3 schools so far (though they were all safeties), and I think that has made me overconfident and I'm afraid I will crash and burn with Gtown... arfghsh@!!

I live in GA so I will probably get mine a little later. I'm keeping my expectations low (Gtown is a big stretch for me) but I will be SO ECSTATIC if I got in!

my friend told me that gtown doesnt reject any EA applicants: only deferrals. Is that true?

i live in philly, do you think i'll get mine tomorrow?

by the way, i believe it is true that they do not reject..

I live in Baltimore and I got my letter this afternoon and I was ACCEPTED!!!! YAY!!!! Congrats to all who were accepted and good luck to those still waiting!!! :)

NYers hopefully you'll get your decisions tomorrow. I remember 4 yrs ago when I also obsessed on CC and saw that people near Gtown were getting decisions. I had an AP review session the next day (also a Sat. but I was RD), and I RUSHED home after and got the mail. I didn't even wait to go inside and opened it right there. I opened it backwards and saw the green deposit slip and new I was in. I called another friend that applied and she got in too (though ended up going to Penn Wharton). Great day.

Good luck! And remember even if you don't get into Gtown, you'll end up going to a great school and having a great time. Gtown wasn't actually my first choice, as I got deferred admission to Cornell, my top choice. I thought that I'd spend a year @ Gtown then take the deferred admission to Cornell, but I loved it so much that I didn't transfer. So even if you don't get into your top choice, you'll still have a great experience and education at whatever school you go to. College isn't the end of your life!

when do you think chicago/midwest will get their letters? tomorrow?

Yes. deferred applicants get full review as if they applied RD

I hope if I get accepted that I get it tommorrow, otherwise I can wait til monday cause I can't stand ANY more bad news.
