sweet. well it makes a difference at what time they were sent out..9am vs. 5pm is essentially another day. but i think this means saturday at the latest!!!!!!! yey!!!! everyone keep us posted!~

Ahh! This is driving me insane!

I have a Speech and Debate meet all day Saturday, so I won't find out until 10ish at night! I REALLY want it to come on Friday, that would be nice....or not so nice, it depends.

Nothing in my mailbox today; I live 45 minutes from DC. The waiting is driving me crazy.

oh, and btw, its snowing in houston!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! miracles can happen!!!!! I think it's a sign :)

^It's 50 degrees and balmy in Northern Maine, coincidence? I think not.

Soccer4921, I don't know what Houston's like in snow, but the people here in Louisiana have no experience with it at all. Because of that, people constantly run their cars off of the road, etc. when we get even a little ice.

gahhh I want it to come tomorrow so so bad!!!! My town is so slow with mail though. Sometimes I swear it sits in the post office for a week before we get it:(

I actually really hope it comes no earlier than the 15th. I wanna enjoy my birthday (14th). Haha.

Ahh...I just read "they were sent out yesterday" and my stomach churned horribly.
I guess us NYers and other East Coasters will be getting it tomorrow? Aaaah...here I come, deferral.

Just clarifying here...did someone actually CALL the office and find out letters were mailed out yesterday? Or is this speculation based on the announcement posted on the site?

i emailed them last nite and they wrote back this morning saying they havent been sent out yet

nooooooooooooooooooooooo :(

can someone call tomorrow asking when they plan on mailing them? i dont think i can.

Really? Because someone on this forum actually did call, and was told that they had been mailed. I mean, it wasn't just conjecture, they actually said "I called and they told me yesterday", I just forget on which thread....

it was posted on website that they sent out letters yesterday.

Where on the site? It says "Early Action Admissions Decisions will be arriving by mail on or before December 15th." That doesn't necessarily mean they've been sent.

Georgetown University- Office of Undergraduate Admissions

where strawberry?

Someone posted yesterday that they had called gtown and that admissions said they had mailed them. I dont know which thread it was on either. But if they put that up on the website yesterday, i bet that means they were mailed yesterday.

People, this is not that complicated. Cut and pasted from the website:

Early Action Admissions Decisions

Early Action admissions decisions will be arriving by mail on or before December 15th. If you do not receive your decision in the mail you may call the office to receive your decision over the phone starting on December 16th. There is no way to receive your decision on the website.

Yeah, there's a difference between "you'll get them soon" and "we've sent them"

I sent an email today asking when they mailed (if they have) or when they will mail, but the office was closed by the time I sent it. I'll post the answer tomorrow when I get home from school (my email's blocked at school), unless someone can find out sooner.
