Early Action v. Early Decision

I'm going to be applying to Miami next year (I guess it would be this year though) for Fall 2012 admission. I know I want to apply early, but I'm not sure whether I should apply early action or early decision. I'm going to be visiting Miami in a few weeks, and if my experience is as good as I'm anticipating it to be, Miami will definitely be my number one choice. I've heard that if you apply ED you have greater opportunity for Financial Aid in the form of grants because of more available funds. Is this true? And what are the other advantages/disadvantages for EA vs. ED? If seeing my stats would help, here's a link to them: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-miami-florida/1056422-anyone-wanna-chance-junior-class-2016-admission-singer-scholarship.html
Thanks!

I know that they give ED scholarships, then EA scholarships, then RD scholarships so I assume the earlier you apply the higher your chances are for getting merit aid.
