<p>When must one respond to a early action decision? I know the results come out around December but some people at my school still haven't committed to the school. Is it possible to be accepted at the early school, as well as other regular decision schools, and then decide afterwards?</p>

<p>yes- that’s the difference between early action and early decision. early decision is binding so you can’t apply to regular decision schools after that. however, early action lets you know about a school early, but you still have until may 1st to see what other schools offer and then respond.</p>
