In past experiences, when does The U start making decisions about applicants with EA? I know the website says January, but does anyone know if they start early as most other colleges?

I would say not to plan on hearing anything until February and then be pleasantly surprised when you get a decision in late January. The last couple of years, there has been a lot of discussion/frustration about the release date.

They are out of sync with their peer institutions who have similar deadlines and notify weeks sooner. It is hard to understand and reflects poorly on the administraion.
