I will be applying to Texas Tech for Spring 2015. I will have had my GED and 30 transferable hours of college credit by then. However I will be only 16 years old (high school didn't work out for me). Do I have a chance of getting in?
Also, if I am accepted, would my age be a problem for me socially? Besides the fact I can't smoke/go to bars/ etc. I am not extremely interested in that my first few semesters. I would like to join a few student orgs. like Greek life(for the connections), band, robotics.

I would assume if you have your GED and the 30 hours transferable to TTU it would not be a problem. You might want to call TTU come early next year to verify though. They are extremely helpful for this type of thing. Good luck, & hey you don’t need to smoke or go to bars etc. I’m sure there are plenty of things to do that are more productive.

Thanks. I hope I can get in. And im just hoping to find a niche. Where ever I go
