Question for ya’ll - when is the earliest that UT starts accepting applications for admission into Cockrell for Summer/Fall 2016?

And I guess the better question is, if they accept early applications, do they review them as they go? Or wait for the deadline and then review all at once?

I’m hoping that if they go through them as they go, that if I submit really early, maybe I have a better chance of getting accepted.

Anyone have any idea how it works?

BTW - in case it matters, I’m a transfer student from ACC seeking a second degree (already have a Bachelor degree from University of Arizona)

UT reviews applications based on rolling admissions which means that they look over applications as they are sent, so it is definitely best to submit early to avoid your engineering application being stuck ‘under review’ when spots become more competitive near the deadline.

Check your ApplyTexas account to see when the UT application opens.

Edit: Just saw the second comment; I think transfer applicants should be similar to how freshman applicants are handled but I’m not certain.
