Does applying early to combined bs/md programs, specifically Brown PLME, have an advantage over regular decision?

Not really, since the main advantage given by early is that increases the yield, whereas for PLME the numbers are so small that most yield increases would be negligible. Also, if you're not prepared to enter "yes" into the box that asks whether if you don't get into PLME, do you want to be considered ED to Brown regular undergrad, then it's actually a bit disadvantageous...as they know you're not in it for Brown, but rather the med program.

lol.. irony kicks my butt again... I didnt apply to PLME early because I was afraid to check that box (didn't want to commit to brown undergrad that early).

In the end though, I'm going to brown undergrad (rejected from PLME). Still, I'm happy with my decision and the way everything worked out.
