<p>Average? Depends on the scheduling. Some at 8:30, some at 9:00. You might have a few days where your first class starts at 11AM. Depends what’s offered, what time is assigned, and what you take. </p>
<p>As a Junior and Senior, I intentionally tried to avoid any optional class that didn’t start at 9:30 or afterwards.</p>
<p>I also tried to pick optional classes that were very close to my dorm – nothing like a 2 minute walk to my first class. yeah baby!</p>
<p>I think chemistry departments try to schedule Orgo as early as possible in order to be mean lol</p>
