<p>From what I’ve heard, Safford is prime real estate so it usually goes to upperclassmen. So I don’t have much hope for ending up there my first year!
I’m waiting until I get the acceptance package before sending the deposit as well. Speaking of, does anyone know how long it takes for the packages to arrive? What do the packages consist of? I’ve heard some colleges mail you stuff like stickers or keychains. Does MHC do that too?</p>

<p>About a few questions that came up:</p>
<p>*In previous years, you have had an option to list top three dorms. It wasn’t an option for 2016 and we were assigned our rooms. If it makes you feel better, though, there’s no really “bad” dorm, just some that are less popular because they’re uglier/further away, etc., etc. </p>
<p>*All the dorms, I believe (except Pearsons Annex, which is only for Frances Perkins students) have rooms reserved for members of every class. In past years, some dorms haven’t been open to firsties, but this isn’t true anymore. I have a couple of firstie friends who live in Safford. </p>
<p>*I didn’t get a hat! It would be cool, though. I did get a bumper sticker. </p>
