so overall its 3.46.....i actually had a bad first semester in junior got 6 B;s.....then second semester i started working harder and got 3 B's, and i plan to work hard to get better grade in senior year also but i guess they wouldnt see them unless i got deferred

I mean every college has mailing lists though. I don't understand why it's so significant to be on washU's, but doesn't matter for others. I don't know...

WashU looks at it from the stand point. "He/Shes visited our college, is on the mailing list, and is showing strong interest in wanting to come to our school."

The people whom apply to WashU are also capable of getting in at the ivies, and other top schools that are non-ivy. So what WashU does, is takes the kids that show strong interest, and give them a slight boost, because it shows a higher enrollment rate. The biggest boost by far you can do at WashU, non-academically and EC wise, would be to apply ED. If you don't apply ED you'll probably get wait listed like everyone else.

ok so i decided im gonna apply ED to washU, but heres my complete collge list that im applying to......WashU, UMich, UVA, U Wisconsin Madison, Case Western Reserve, and UMCP....what do u guys think about my chances at all these schools? like accepted....rejected....w/e thanks

Go to the URL and click on as guest. We have a weighted system, which is probably similar to yours. The GPAs noted in the graph are weighted GPAs.

As I see it, you are right on the edge between being waitlisted and accepted. If you have something pulling for you such as great at tennis as to be on their team etc, you may have a decent chance. Here is where your essay will be critical.

wait....uh umcp is my safety....unless u were talking about some other school for the waitlisted and accepted i dunno what ur talking about.....i live in maryland so im in state and my school has that scattergram thing too.....im smack dab in the middle of a huge pile of acceptances....umcp is my safety im not worried about getting in there....im worried about the other schools that i listed

I think you are okay for ED, b/c WUSTL screws ppl over in RD, a lot of ppl with 1400+/2100+ and like triple 700+ SATIIs 3.8+GPA and good ECs.
but for ED, i think you might be okay

I like WUSTL, but something that erks me is that they are not need blind. I would hate to think that I could be denied admissions because I need a lot of financial aid.
