I will be applying this fall and Miami of Ohio is easily my number one. I am in love with the Farmer school of business and would like to study accounting. I know early decision is binding and would need a decent scholarship to attend(around 15,000). I wanna know if I could get a direct admit to the Farmer and it would be best to apply ED instead of EA
My stats:
3.8 UW
4.1W
Around the 1400’s mark super scored
Attend top high school in Chicago-land area
http://miamioh.edu/admission/merit-grid/index.html Check this out, remember this is for 2018. It could change next year. I would never apply to a school early decision if you can not afford it without a scholarship. Apply early action. There is also a thread here with others sharing stats and the scholarship they received. I would try to get your SAT up or try taking the ACT and seeing how you do on it. If you get it up a bit you will be in a higher tier with better chance at a bigger scholarship. You have all summer to study and get that score up.
Have your run the net price calculator? If a school does not appear affordable based on that, I would not apply ED.
Does the school take into account the merit aid you receive when determining your financial aid?
