Does William and Mary give any "bonus" points to early decison applicants?

Early decision candidates have a statistical advantage almost everywhere. This is in exchange for the guarantee that admitted ED students will enroll. According to info from the Flat Hat for the 2008 admission season:

Last year, 917 students applied ED to W & M, and 467 were admitted (about 51 percent). SAT 25th/75th percentile was 1270-1400 (Math/Critical Reading only) for accepted ED applicants.

Overall, 11,622 applications were received; 3800 were accepted (33 percent). Mid 50th SAT percentiles were 1310-1470 (M/CR) for admitted students. The mid-50th percentiles for enrolled students this year is 1260-1430 (M/CR).

My d, who is out of state, was admitted ED last fall. Though her SATs were strong, her GPA was only an A-minus in a very rigorous curriculum; our school doesn't rank. I think applying ED gave her several "bonus" points!

frazzeld1: Where can I find out what % of OOS ED applicants were accepted at W & M?

I have been looking for W&M's OOS ED admission rate, but haven't located any published numbers. If anybody has that data, please post!

I don't know if W & M specifies an OOS ED admission rate. Here's a link to the most recent common data set info available (doesn't have 2007-2008 application season results yet):

CDS

According to the Flat Hat article I cited above, of the 467 students accepted ED, 73 percent were from VA. But I don't know how many of the 917 ED applicants were in-state, so I don't think there's a way to determine the OOS admission rate from the info provided. I think the admissions dept. would be willing to provide it, though, if asked.
