We are going to early registration next week with our son. Anyone else going? Anyone know what to expect?

The event is well run like other events you may have attended. The student get a list of classes and a guide to choose on the first day. The next day we met with advisor to pick classes. There are events to attend for parents and Q & A sessions about what to expect. This was very helpful. They go over everything from dorm room, meal plans and freshman move in day. The student will also take their photo for university ID. It was worth going to have all classes set and within a short period of time, my son was able to log in to his account to see what supplies and books he needed. He was able to shop textbook prices, rentals etc… early to get a good deal. Student can also take another tour of campus.

Thanks. Do you recall if the Friday dinner required business dress or was casual?

If I recall I think the whole weekend was casual dress, like nice pants and polo. I remember a lot of walking. Bring comfortable shoes.

Good advice. Thanks
