<p>Congrats! My daughter knows a couple students who got early writes but not STRIDEs, so it’s not 100%.</p>
<p>My D got the letter and she is in. Hopefully the scholarship will come too to make sure we can afford it.</p>
<p>Just wonder anyone knows how many early writes are sent out every year? What percentage of the admitted students are early writes?</p>
<p>I was wondering that also. Three girls from DD’s school (including her) received them. I don’t know enough about one but I pleasantly surprised that DD received them. Definitely not surprised about one who received it. I’m really hoping DD receives a scholarship but now I’m not so sure given the competition. </p>

<p>Apparently some early-writes students have received T-shirts from Smith after the early-write letter and parent letter. </p>
<p>Right after I wrote that post, my husband came in from the post office with a t-shirt from Smith. Not sure what it means…</p>
<p>D received her T-Shirt today. It was sent out on Monday 03/10.</p>
<p>I got admitted as well! Excited. Smith is a top choice. Waiting on Haverford and Northwestern.</p>
