Easiest to hardest AP courses? Taking in sophomore year?

Hi, I'm an upcoming sophomore and I would like to take 2 APs in sophomore year: one in school and one online. In school, I'm already taking World History AP. I would like to avoid any math and science APs. History and Langauge I can tackle very easily. Which courses are easiest to self-study? Where should I take them online? I'm thinking of these:
Curriculum: Online Courses for Advanced Placement® Students| Online Courses | Aventa Learning
Online Advanced Placement Courses | Apex Learning High School
Online Advanced Placement Courses
BYU Independent Study - Advanced Program
any more suggestions?

I'm thinking of taking APUSH online..I'm not so sure. I want to leave psychology AP to junior year in school, and I would like to take English Lang/Lit AP in school as well. I want to major in animation, English, or psychology. Which courses should I take online?

Here is my planned schedule for sophomore, junior, and senior year. Our school does not offer AP art, but I'll take reg art anyway. I'm in a studio outside of school so it's okay.

sophomore year: (taking one AP online, please suggest!)

thanks so much, College Confidential community ^____^

I love social studies as well, so I think I can help, although personally I’m not a big fan of self-studying.

Here goes:
Only do APUSH online if you are confident with your writing skills and ability to memorize loads of information without a teacher breathing down your neck. Also, self-studying a history AP seems to involve a lot of online submission of essays, with harsh grading that many students don’t like.

AP Gov is held to be quite easy, and could be a good choice if you are interested in politics.

Take AP Econ if you like/are able to understand abstract concepts- it doesn’t take as much math as you might think. I find economics extremely interesting and useful.

Euro at my school is held to be the most difficult, because of the depth of information covered that most students aren’t familiar with. The test format is quite similar to that of APUSH.

I don’t know a thing about psych, but I’m assuming it’s heavy on the memorization.

AP World is the easiest history AP at my school, mainly because we are all forced to take it freshman year and therefore know a large amount of the information beforehand. However, that seems to be a trend only in my school, since the % of people getting 5’s is staggeringly small. But go ahead and try it- it’s really interesting.

So this really doesn’t answer your question, but I think you should base your decision on your own strengths instead of the preference of others. If you have a good memory and good writing skills, you can easily manage any of the histories. If you lack the writing but have the memory, gov might be a great choice. And econ is fantastic because it is all about logic and your ability to apply concepts and think critically.

I am a sophomore and I’m taking AP Euro, American, and Human. If you simply want an AP class on your college application then take Human Goepgraphy as its probably the easiest AP. If you want something that is useful and you might enjoy then take AP American online.

thank you so much; this was very helpful :)

Since you’re interested in art, why don’t you self-study AP art history or whatever via virtual classes?

which online school did you end up going with? and did it well prepare you for the exam?
