Eastern-Europeans

Hi, I have lived in the US for almost 3 years now, but I would die to know how many Eastern-Europeans got into MIT or Harvard (EA) by now. (I got into both. I'm Albanian, btw, but I seriously doubt that any Albanians post here, lol. If anyone does though, it would be really cool to hear from you)

Congrats to all who got in!

I'm from Serbia&Montenegro and was admitted to MIT and also got "positive early indication letter" from Harvard

I am from Bulgaria and I was rejected at MIT.
But i know 3 people who got into Harvard EA. and another 3 Bulgarians who got into MIT

In my experience Eastern Europeans tend to do extremely well in IMO (and they obsess over it a lot - check Mathlinks).

there's a sizable contingent of eastern europeans in my dorm, and a related crowd that's now moved off campus, as they're getting towards the graduating end of things; i don't have good specifics on where exactly each is from, but i know we have some from bulgaria (mostly, which is why that section of the haus is called bulgaria), romania, lithuania, georgia, and a few other places, probably.

o yeah, Eastern europeans DO obsess a lot about the IMO (been there, done that) Maybe thats because the IMO started back home. (Romania 1957, i believe...dunno if im right)

So nobody has that DHL list of admitted international students?

I HAD it but lost the number. When I found it the site seemed that it does not work anymore
