<p>I've done a search for this and found a couple of threads but they died off pretty quickly.</p>
<p>I'm not interested in GEs; I am more interested in my major and want to concentrate my studying time on that.</p>
<p>So I am wondering what easy GEs there are? Mainly interested in Cat II, V, and VI</p>
<p>Also, is WRIT 130 supposed to be easier than 140?</p>

<p>Writ 130 isn't technically easier...just the essay topics don't follow an expected theme like they do in Writ 130. that said, very few people are usually allowed to take Writ 130, for the most part only Aero/Mech Engineering, Music Performance, and i think sometimes architecture students.</p>
<p>for Cat VI, Race and Class in LA was pretty easy. there may be easier, but if anything, it's easy enough and more importantly it takes care of the Diversity Requirement.</p>
