Easy to switch majors from whatever to biological sciences?

Let's say if you were accepted business economics or chemistry, is it easy for you to switch into biological sciences, do well then move onto the impacted majors like molecular biology?

Also, for the UC apps, I'm somewhat strategizing with my majors. My math IIc score is a little weak at 640, but my US history is at 760. My ACT is a 29 , SAT is a 1940. With a 3.8 UC GPA I know I'm decent, but if I apply as a chemistry major would that hurt me since the chem major emphasizes good math skills?

I know I listed two questions, but can anyone give me any insight to one or both questions?

probably easy, yes.

no one knows (probably would hurt you slightly but i say you are probably gonna be admitted anyway)

I don't imagine a chemistry major being impacted. That being said, if you still worry you should just apply as an undeclared instead, although CL&S majors won't necessarily scrutinize your application (It seems to be more of a crunch numbers, not what KINDS of number, kind of thing to get admitted there)
