EC

My school barely offers any EC's besides sports and I suck at sports

The offered ECs are:
Interact
Debate Team
Diversity Club
Robotics

I will be running for Student Council also but I don't expect a win. I also believe that the Debate Team and Diversity Club have been canceled but will have to find that out.

Is there a question?

What is my best option for a Poli Sci Major going for Law School and if their is nothing “good”, How Can I get my school to offer more EC’s?

Start a club that relates to poli sci and that you want to move forward with. Stay with Debate and campaign to get on Student Council. Talk to your teachers/counselors about the lack of ECs in your school…

Its a very small school I should add, 600 students and thats probabaly including the middle school which is 7th and 8th.

Like mentioned above, start a political science club. The one I think of when I think political science is Model United Nations. My school has one, and I know a lot of people who participate. I don’t know much personally about it, but it’s exactly what it sounds like: you participate in a conference that is meant to model how the United Nations functions. I believe there is some debating that goes into it, and there’s also papers you need to write. You could probably look it up online. If you can get enough people, that would be one way to do it.

What about doing some non-school related EC’s? Look what’s offered in your community.

Volunteering at a Hospital or Soup Kitchen would be considered an EC? Thats all I Can think off.

Yes. There’s usually a local debate club or something. That’s what I’m in.

I’ll Look around

If you are interested in Poli Sci, how about attending the meetings of some local elected board and getting involved in a petition drive or something else depending on the local issues?
