Econ 1 Vs. Econ 2

I'm a freshman trying to get into Haas. Any suggestions on which Econ to take next semester? I heard that Econ 2 is for Economics intended majors and may be a bit more difficult. Anyone know which one is easier? Thank you.

bump bump bump :(

both are hard from what i've heard.

Anyone know which tends to give out more lenient grades?

econ 1 is for everyone, econ 2 is for econ majors

take econ 2 if you wanna study econ for grad school
i think econ 1 covers alittle less stuff so i suppose that would be the easier class but curves also have to be taken into consideration

im taking econ 1 to go into the econ major, but i think that would be hte best choice for haas people also

thank you pirus. very helpful response. i think ill be joining you in econ 1 next semester :)
