How good is it in undergrad? I feel like it gets overshadowed by ross

“Overshadowed” implies that they are interchangeable… but a BBA is not (supposed to be) directly interchangeable with a BA or BS in Economics. The degree programs are each as good, in their own right with what they purport to teach, in my eyes.

As for the individual departments… I’d still say the same thing. You’d find a lot more theory discussion in an Economics concentration than you would in Ross.

It’s hard to compare the two, to me at least.

Michigan’s Economics program is excellent at the undergraduate level. But I agree with JJJJust, it should not be, in principle anyway, interchanged with a degree with Ross, although ultimately, a percentage of Econ majors are students who were not admitted into Ross.

From an academic point of view, I find Economics more challenging, varried and ultimately rewarding than Business. From a professional placement, however, you will be hard placed to find a better venue than Ross.
