I am an AB mostly B junior in high school, I've always only taken honors and AP classes, and am currently in AP MAcroeconomics, AP microeconomics.
I seem to like the subject and want to go undergrad for economics. What schools would you recommend for a student of my class? I think I would rather not go to a liberal arts school.

chicago, northwestern, berkeley , upenn, johns hopkins, cornell, duke have great econ departments but might be hard to get in as an AB/B student

some more realistic schools with good econ programs are NYU, Virginia, Michigan Ann Arbor, U Rochester, U Minnesota, U Wisc Madison

in many cases the econ department is as good as the overall academic quality of a school
