Economics 101 with Malone

Hey guys, for anyone that has taken this course before, just wondering if reading the textbook is necessary to do well on exams, or if just the lecture notes/attending all the lectures is enough? Also, I've heard that the quizzes are pretty easy.. Are lecture notes enough for them, or is reading the text necessary?

I took 101 with Malone last semester. I read basically the entire textbook, as well as going to all the lectures and did well in the class. However, the majority of information from the textbook (and like all of the material necessary for the exams) was covered in lecture, so if you go, pay attention and take good notes, I think you should be fine. The quizzes are pretty much identical to the homework problems assigned, so I would recommend doing the HW or at least looking over the problems and the solutions (posted on Ctools).

so is it not needed to read the textbook? What would be a good way to prepare for problems like that on the exam?

where could one from extra practice tests?
