Hi I'm going to university of rochester this coming fall as freshman.
I'm thinking either major in economics or business.
But I'm wondering which major is better known at undergraduate U of R.
I really like economics but I also want to major in business becuz I like both majors.
Does anyone know anything about both economics and business major and what are their positive points?.
Thanks!!!

There is no undergraduate business major at Rochester. There is a certificate in Management Studies which you could obtain with any major you choose.

The economics dept is good. I heard that it is more math oriented and a Chicago school bent. My sons both loved the first econ class and one of them will end up having econ as one of his clusters.
