I know there are a lot of these posts, but just help me out. I currently have eight ECs listed on my application, but I only have strong hours in about 3-4 of them. Should I keep them all on, or should I only list the ones that are more impressive and leave out things such as International Club or Environmental Club?

bump…

^I’m in the same predicament too, sort of. Those clubs might make you look well rounded but you didn’t really do anything in them… I would like to know the answer to this question too, so bump!

If they aren’t just 1 year things (you’ve been doing them for longer) I think you should keep them. It just shows your additional interests.

It doesn’t look like I’m trying to hard though?

Most schools ask you to list them in priority order. So put the lesser ones near the bottom. Maybe try to make them interesting? Did you host a foreign student for Intl club or clean up a river w/ the env club? Dont worry too much about thinking if others will think ur trying to hard. Just my advice. Good Luck!

Thank you!
