When are they going to tell us???

The admissions site says by Feb. 15.

That's weird. I thought that the EDII deadline was changed to February 1.

website states by 2/15 for ED 11, that seems straightforward

How do they notify? Online? Will it most likely be on the fifteenth? or sometime before?

Wesleyan never notifies by e-mail or by any other electronic means. As for the date, it'll most likely be the 15th and no earlier.

Has anybody heard anything?

Son has not heard anything. I think I am more nervous than he?

Let me call the Admissions Office right now. I'll post in a little bit regarding the date of EDII decisions. The EDII application deadline was extended to February 12, according to the receptionist I spoke with on my last visit.

Okay, I take that back. Hmm, apparently, applicants were allowed to send in materials if their individual applications were missing anything. Nevertheless, the decisions are gonna be mailed out on February 15. If you live in the US, you'll most likely get your decision anytime from February 16-February 22 (at the latest). If you live outside of the US, you'll most likely get an e-mail very soon from Wesleyan. I hope that this places some people at ease. Anyways, best of luck! :)

showtunesguy, you're a nice guy! thanks, stressed maternal unit

Don't be stressed out at all, deuxchevaux. :) Regardless of the university's decision, your child will be happy anywhere he/she/ze goes. I know that I am. :) Best of luck!

Our school heard that Wesleyan mailed notifications out on the 13th and our daughter casually mentioned it yesterday (the 14th!). So we asked if she checked that day's mail yet (we live in suburban NY). The screaming said it all...
The relief is palpable. After a deferral from an ED I, the thought of waiting until April would have been too painful. This really is the perfect match for our daughter. We're so proud and happy. The thrills kept coming: hearing her grandmothers break down in tears of joy, checking the facebook group with her of Wesleyan Class of 2012 and hearing her exclaim how much these kids looked like her now and her future, telling her younger sister and seeing her light up was a thrill too. Today, my wife drove to the HS to tie balloons to her car and put signs all over it. The one element that brings this all back down to earth was the fact sheet with costs for the next four years! Ouch!

^^^this post gave me such nachas!

Torture me Berksquat, Normal sized letter saying you are in or fat package? Deuxchevaux

Well, the envelope was kind of torn to shreds, more like ripped apart. My daughter had convinced herself that it would take more than a day to arrive and wasn't expecting it until Friday at the earliest, so she told herself to calmly open the mailbox and carry the mail inside and sit at the kitchen table as she normally does and go through the letters one by one.
When she opened the box and saw that one, LARGE, solitary white envelope sitting amidst the assorted junk, her adrenal glands went into overdrive and she flew into the house. She never made it to the kitchen. The large envelope had the Wesleyan logo on it!!!!! She started screaming and stood right there in the center hallway and screamed her little heart out. All that she had dreamed, all the hard work, all the worrying, all the stress - was done for the contents of that envelope. The size said it all. You're in.

Thank you. Son was also deferred from EDI but alas, lost heart, and midterm grades went down. Not a good thing. DC

Best of luck to your son...

Thank you. Congrats to your daughter - she must feel on top of the world! I sent husband to the mail box and nothing. We live in rural Massachusetts.

I Got In!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
