Paul McGhee Undergraduate Admissions FAQ and look at question 2. Good luck!!!!
Your stats seem to be great for this school (SPCS), I wouldn't worry about that.

OH no!! I never read that you had to be 19 and out of school for one year!! I've already applied ED....What do I do?? I really wanted to go for hotel and tourism management. Any suggestions??? Please help!!

no, shes wrong

hotel management, sports marketing, and gsp are in SCPS, but are NOT part of the Paul McGhee thing.

hotel management is meant to be taking right out of high schools, as your four year undergrad major. While there, you take gsp foundation courses (since your in the same school as them) opposed to the Morse Academic Plan (doubt this means anything to you yet)

The Paul McGhee thing is meant for a totally different student, pay no attention to that.

Its confusing though, I would definately call. If you want, i can one of my friends in hotel management any questions you have also.

from what ive heard, its one of the easiest programs to get into, so your sat might not hurt you too much.

from the site:
"Following are instructions for applying to the Paul McGhee division of SCPS. Students applying to the Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management and to the General Studies Program should note that those application procedures are different and the application goes through the main undergraduate office of NYU, not SCPS. Read more about how to apply to the Tisch Center here."
