Deferred here also. UGH!!

Congratulaions to all ED accepted…proud parent of an Amherst grad!

pm me if you have any questions

I was accepted!

Can i ask what your deferral letters say? Mine touched upon senior grades etc to bring a new perspective to the application? Im wondering if the deferral letters are all the same…

@baregrylls I have the same things mentioned in my letter so they are probably the same for everyone.

For those who applied for aid and got accepted, have you got the email from the Financial aid office?

I was accepted ED too and haven’t received an email about aid yet. I’m not submitting the enrollment form until I receive it just in case.

@Squashie

I didn’t get an email but i checked my financial aid portal and looked under the awards section and saw my financial aid award :)

@cosmicsituation could you please post the link for the financial aid portal?

@squashie here you go https://fadata.amherst.edu/NetPartner/NetPartnerStudent

@cosmicsituation thanks a lot, but no award tab yet…Seems like you’re quite happy with your award

@squashie huh thats weird that you dont have yours yet. my fin aid is pretty good it looks like i shouldn’t have a problem attending which is great! hope yours is equally as awesome.

It’s not weird at all, shouldn’t worry too much about it. Most colleges have this policy – when they notify you of your award depends on when they start processing your materials and when you’ve sent them. They don’t have a set date to notify everyone all at once.

How do you know if you qualify for the deposit waiver? It isn’t specifically listed in my messages tab, but I definitely qualify for aid.
