@wyo002 , I noticed something else on the Financial Aid portal just now. After I logged to my D’s account, there is now a “Hello ____” at the top left hand corner of the screen in green font. Has my D’s name - never noticed this before, and I am pretty sure it’s new. Anyone else who applied for financial aid notice this? Also, check post #355 about the location of the green button changing on the financial aid portal. Thanks for any feedback.
@Winky1 mine has my name too!
This is new, right @wyo002?? Also, while you are logged in, are you able to click the Resources tab on the far right? Then it has a listing of lots of green hyper text for tons forms a student might need. Is this access to Resources tab new? I don’t recall all of this. One thing I cannot find when I log into FA Access is her Financial Aid Administrator’s name, and the webpage says to log in to FA Access to find the name of that person. When I do log in, it’s just the general paragraph that’s always been there.
Sounds like an interesting development for you guys. We didn’t apply for FA so we don’t get a hint of possibly good news. Good luck to everyone. Lets hope its today!
@Winky1 Mine has my name and I’m able to click the Resources tab as well. I’ve never looked carefully into my financial aid portal so I’m not sure this is new lol. Where can I find the FA Administrator’s name?
Is there any chance results are still coming today? I really can’t wait anymore
@Winky1 I am pretty sure the resources tab has been there the whole time
Ok, thanks @wyo002. I wasn’t sure about the extend of what’s now available in the Resources tab.
@fatcat15, I was clicking around, and I think it you click Newly Admitted Students tab instead of clicking Prospective Students tab, at the bottom, it will tell you to log in to your FA Access to find the name of your Financial Aid Administrator (I know that sounds weird because you would’ve just logged into the FA portal). But, I did it anyway via the FA Access button at the top of the screen, and no FA Administrator name showed up on the left side in the list on the left margin. Just poking around to see if there is anything to find.
I am certain the “Hello ____” was not there until very recently (maybe yesterday or today).
Also, just for everyone who has not applied for Financial Aid, nothing has changed on my D’s regular Wash U Pathway.
to the posters with a mom that has "“inside knowledge” on when the results will be released–are the decisions done and they are waiting to release or are they still deliberating?
So what day do u guys think WashU will release decisions? Today?
See post #374, @mem986. As of last night, no other info. was known. Keep us posted, @cjjellybean !
where is the resources tab? My page just says… Your application for admission is complete! Please check back for important updates. AM I missing something?
I was talking about detail from the financial aid portal, not the Wash U Pathway.
Maybe I don’t have anything like that cause I didn’t apply for financial aid. I only have the sentence about application being complete
Based on post #243, if this year will follow trends of the previous years, we will find out before 1:00pm CT (or whatever time that post referred to). However, someone on here did say that they spoke to a higher up in admissions who said this would be the latest decision in history.
Also, did anyone apply for the Danforth Scholars program? If you have and have clicked on your application, is your name green? And has it always been green?
My D has not applied yet for the Danforth, but she’s in the process of writing her essays. When I click on the Danforth, the application pops up, but no green ink. Everything is still normal black ink that populates. But she hasn’t officially applied yet.
@Winky1 I have not applied yet either, but at the top, my name, email, and “Fall Early Decision” are now in a green box. I was wondering if this has always been there or if it’s new?
I am looking at the Danforth page now, @aa51400 and for my D , the box is grey and the font with her name and email etc. is white. Nothing is green.
