Does anyone know how many people were accepted and how many people applied?
WashU doesn’t usually publish the numbers but the usual rule of thumb is 1/3 of ED applicants are accepted and roughly 1/3 of the class is ED.

For new students, there will be a couple of FB groups. Make sure you sign up for the ‘official’ group. There will be a WashU group that is run by a company that will try to sell you stuff.
I know that accepted students will start GroupMe groups. Be careful of any posts. Sad to say there was a controversy involving the current freshman class. Social media sometimes brings out the worst in people. That being said, you are all mature and thoughtful.

And in a week to 10 days everyone who is accepted will get the paper letter and some souvenirs. You can’t miss the big red envelope that says ‘I’m in.’
