I got deferred by Wellesley...
They will look at my application again and I want to give them an additional essay, how can i do that?
Shall I sumbit my common app again-- put the essay as the additional info. or post mail the essay to the admission office??
Than you!!

Let me say that I'm sorry you got deferred! I got deferred last year for my top choice (which actually wasn't Wellesley!) school and it really irked me. However, don't lose hope, but it looks like you've still got your mind in the game.

Don't submit your common app again, that seems like overkill. What I did when I got deferred was I spoke to an admissions officer about my application to see if they needed anything else, or to see what I was missing. This would be a good time to ask if any additional material is needed.

Also, a good idea in general would be to send a letter explaining that although you were disappointed with the deferral, you are still very enthusiastic about the school. In the letter you can explain whether it is still your top choice school or whether you are moving on, etc. Along with the letter you can include your extra essay.

THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! Thank you so much! ^^ That's is a great idea! I will do that! ^^
