ED JHU: Do I stand even a slight chance?

Heyo,
So I want to apply ED for JHU this fall. JHU is my dream school and I'm so happy they offer ed, but at the same time I'm wondering if I even stood a chance considering the crazy high standards for college admissions these days. My other schools I am applying to are:
U Minn Twin Cities (on spot admissions in October), U WI Madison, USC, Berkeley, JHU, U Chicago
My first choice major would be chemistry, second choice major being mechanical engineering.

Oh and, does anyone know if any of my schools will allow me to transfer my credits gained at the U of M Twin Cities or is there a credit transfer cap?

I think you should be able to get in. You have a nice GPA, a good SAT score, and above average ECs.

Good luck!

just so you know..you can’t take SAT I and 2 SAT IIs on the same day in oct…pick either SAT I or SAT IIs so you can’t retake SAT I before ED
unlike 1a1 i think your SAT I is a little low, but ok
you have good ECs and awards that will definitely help you get into JHU
I say you have a good chance..good luck!

You have a great chance! You should be able to get in. Good luck :)

The SAT isn’t the best, but I don’t think it will deny her admission.

2010-2290 was the 50th percentile for admitted students to JHU in 2007.

I just checked college board and I am taking my subject tests in november. That’s still okay, right? I just have the scores sent ASAP.

Lots of people from my school apply to JHU and get in, and I’m positive that your stats are at least on par with these people’s! Your ECs also look very good. You’ve got an excellent shot and should be a shoe-in with good essays.

PS: The campus is beautiful; I visited a few days ago and fell in love. <3

I haven’t been able to visit, and sadly I don’t think I’ll be able to. It isn’t really financially feasible for my parents to make the trip. I know it seems weird to want to go to such an expensive school if my parents can’t afford, but I’ve saved up a lot to go…
