snow day! ahhh this makes time go by even slower! i really hope we all get them on saturday. unfortunately, i'm already expecting it then lol. oh well i guess we'll see

I have a snow day too! If they will send lobstersquad an email, why not all applicants! Is anyone brave enough to call and ask if they give their decisions out over the phone?

At the risk of sounding like a wet-blanket, I would urge you NOT to call the office to ask about your decision. Think about it: how many hundreds of calls would they have to deal with? And do you honestly think they would want to (in the worst-case scenario, which I am sure will not happen here, but go with me) have to tell someone that they had been rejected?

Just hang in there a couple more days. This, too, shall pass!

As for the international applicants getting e-mails, they will most likely know before the US applicants. At least that is what has happened in the past...

I can't imagine the decisions not coming tomorrow. I live on Long Island and regularly mail things into the city/New Jersey area. It rarely takes longer than a day.

Did anyone hear anything yet?

I called the admissions office today and was told that the decisions were all mailed today! I guess the earliest anyone will hear is tomorrow. I live on Long Island too, and I'm praying for tomorrow.

The motto of the U.S. Postal Service

better still apply for college decision letters!

my friend called the admissions office today and asked...
1. when they were sending the letters out. they said "RIGHT NOW" and that was around 2:30 pm, so pretty exciting
2. (for kryptonite) if they told people their decisions over the phone. she said "no, i don't think i can do that, you'll just have to wait to open the letter yourself"

Thanks Bluebird08.

I called around noon, and I was told the letters had already been sent. Hmmmmm?

Yeah, that's a bit strange...why would they tell one person that they had already mailed the letters before noon and another person that they were in the process of being sent around 2:30 pm? Weird

yeah, i don't understand. like when they told us on tuesday they were mailing them out on wednesday, but it ended up being thursday haha.

hey, do you guys know what will happen if you can't pay the fin aid package they give you for early?

You're released from the early decision contract.

pikachu, our financial aid office is really amazing and will work with you to make sure you can afford to come to barnard. don't worry, the money will work out!

i hope so, but a lot of people having been saying otherwise.

Hey girls! I just got my email and.... I'M IN!!!! I'm crying and shaking so hard I can barely type! Best of luck to all of you!!

congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
I hope I'm as lucky as you
