<p>My son heard on the afternoon of Monday, December 16, 2013. The deadline had been moved to November 8, but December 16th was consistent with prior years as well.<br>

<p>Just made my account after reading this thread. I am in the same boat as all of you. I get this feeling that I’m definitely going to get in, and then I think about how bad my essays probably were and how I’m definitely not going to get in. I feel bipolar! I just want the results to come back.</p>

People started getting acceptances this week, which makes me freak out because I’m starting to realize how real this all is, how soon we’ll know too!</p>

<p>I was so so happy for a friend who got into her ED for Babson today!! But seeing her all happy and crying made me more anxious than ever haha. Really hope the results come out on Friday so I dont have to worry that much about finals next week!!</p>

<p>Just out of curiosity, if we get in, will 1st semester grades have any effect on the decision?? Like if I get a final semester grade of C for my ap gov class would it be bad 
for the other classes I should have solid A’s tho</p>
<p>@jumbomegan Early Decision acceptance is granted with the expectation that you’ll maintain pretty much the same grades they saw in the first quarter grades you sent in. It is possible for colleges to rescind the acceptance, though it is rare</p>
<p>@jumbomegan it is highly unlikely you’ll get rescinded just because of one C (and only after a semester). If it were a D, it would be a different story</p>

I’ve been lurking on this thread to see if anyone had grown a pair and called them to ask about the date decisions come out (talking on the phone still terrifies me…oops) and figured I’d say hey, so…hey!
I’m guessing that it’ll be Friday, if anything because then people would have time to digest bad news before barraging the admissions office with strongly-worded emails and phone calls and whatnot. Maybe I’m just telling myself that so I would have the weekend to drown my rejection in ice cream

<p>@raindancemary Welcome! As far as I know, all Admissions has said is that they’re coming “soon”. I’m in the same boat as you–getting decisions friday would give us all a nice two days to get all of the crying out before returning to school and facing our peers</p>
