What prepschool do you find fascinating to suit your needs of education?

I'm actually leaning towards SPS right now. I love History. English, and foreign languages, and from what I hear there Humanities program is amazing.

What about you?

Exeter. I like science alot, I also like math too. :)

I thought Hotchkiss was your favorite...?

No thats just a school I'm applying to.

Oh, I see.

andover. im crazy about languages and they offer plenty, and alot of interesting places to study abroad. they also have alot of clubs, and from the pics ive seen the campus is gorgeous.

What about deerfield? No 1 says anything thing about it anymore?

Milton has an excellent science department. Also, if you are interested in arts and theatre, Milton is an excellent choice. There are a lot of history courses also.

Loomis has an amazing girl's soccer program. If you are a competitive female soccer player, be sure to look into Loomis.

May I ask what school you go to saolcecseer?

I go to a small private school in the South.
I'm afraid since I don't know you, I don't feel comfortable sharing details.

Why do you ask?

I was just wondering whether you went to one of the boarding schools you talked about. I was accepted into Milton and Loomis and others and was wondering if you were an alumni/current student if you would display pride/bias/ whatever.

Nevermind.

I will be attending Milton Academy next year. I have visited the campus and met some of the students. I'm afraid I will be of no service to you because I have not spent actual time there as a student.

saolcecseer, have you visited the campus? How is it?

It's breath-taking. I was stunned. The layout is amazing. I have not been there in the Fall, but I have seen pictures. It is truly gorgeous. The dorms are nice, and if I'm not mistaken, they are doing some renovations this summer. The ACC (sports center) is very nice. It's big, but not overwhelming to the point where you feel lost at all times. Another interesting thing is that there are some off-campus dorms. There are for seniors only, i think. We did not go visit them, but I assume they are nice. Most of the facilities are relatively new, but even the older ones are nice. For example, the old gym is small, but still useable. It's not gross or run-down. Just old.

Hope this helps. Are you applying in the fall/winter?

actually all the dorms at milton house people from every class, which is unusual for most schools but i think is really productive and a great way to meet people you wouldnt normally meet.

I might. I'm not sure yet.

Do you have any pictures of the campus?

The only ones I have with me right now are the ones they sent in the information packet. Also, there are pictures on the milton website.

Go to www.milton.edu There are picture links on the home page on the bottom right side. There are four of them. Each picture will bring up a new window with about 10-15 pictures running in a slideshow.

Sorry to not have personal ones that I have taken. I lost my digital. :(
