Education to A&S

Hello,

I was wondering how difficult it is to transfer from the education school to the arts and sciences school. I am a bit undecided, but Im leaning toward education. How difficult is it to transfer to A&S, if I decide that teaching isnt for me?

A lot of students from the other three schools (not a whole lot from CSOM) transfer to A&S so the process is not as competitive as anywhere to CSOM. I don't think you should have a problem if you pull a 3.0+ your first two semesters. You have to stay at the school you admitted to for at least one year. But during the time you can take classes in the other schools if you want.

Here is the instruction for internal transfer to A&S:

Thanks Reddune

Anyone else have any advice

is it much harder into transfer to CSOM? just curious.

yeah, its almost impossible to transfer into CSOM. they dont take many people and ive heard that theyre looking for over a 3.8 freshman year (not sure if thats true though, someone in my hall said it). and there are a good bunch of kids who when you ask them waht school they are they say "A&S, but i want to transfer to CSOM."

so yeah, its quite difficult
